Dear ABR family,

I write today to share some very particular needs that we have that requires some timely, practical help from those of you who support this ministry. ABR needs helping hands in three areas:

·    Conference ministry:  Each year ABR conducts conferences and activities in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. that require volunteer assistance in setting up our booth, laying out our materials and then packing everything up at the conclusion of the event.

Certain individuals or couples might also like to help at our booth in assisting our staff as we avail conference participants of the many archaeological and apologetic resources available for their spiritual growth and edification.  For right now, we desperately need helpers who can assist us with set-up and tear-down at various events (requires modest physical labor.)  The next event where we will need this type of practical help will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.  If you live near this region of Pennsylvania and you would like to help, please contact us at our home office as soon as possible.  Of course there will be other conferences and activities throughout 2013 and 2014 where your help would be greatly appreciated as well.

·    Homeschool and Christian Education Conventions: ABR currently is very limited in representing its ministries to homeschool families throughout the U.S.  In the next few years we would like to expand this outreach by being represented in a larger and expanding number of Homeschool and Christian Education conferences across the U.S. Our immediate focus is upon the east coast and the mid-Atlantic region in particular. We are looking for several retired individuals or couples who might read this announcement and have the time and commitment to assist us with this need. Conferences typically run one or two days.  Responsibilities would include the set-up and tear-down of the ABR booth and the handling of the materials and products we offer conference participants. During a convention, responsibilities would include meeting new people and representing ABR, selling ABR products, signing up participants for ABR memberships and connecting those with questions with our ABR staff.

·    Website Blog Entry Assistant: ABR is seeking an individual with experience with web formatting and .html. This volunteer position includes the text preparation of articles and outreach events, importing them into the ABR website blog software, correcting errors and formatting articles, uploading pictures, and posting the articles for review. The volunteer must have knowledge of .html and have excellent computer skills. This volunteer would also be able to help clean up articles presently on the ABR website that require updated formatting. (Please do not inquire about this role unless you have experience with html and internet coding).

More than ever ABR needs the support of Christian friends like you who are led of the Lord to assist us with these practical needs.  Is the Lord tugging at your heart?  Please contact us and let us know. If you have questions about these opportunities, or others, please don’t hesitate to call. You can reach us by calling Michelle at our home office at 800-430-0008, by email: abr@biblearchaeology.org, or send us a comment through our website at: http://www.biblearchaeology.org/contact.aspx.

Thank you and God bless you in your service to the King of Kings.
