Sunday Dec 18 PM: Check in date for volunteers at the Ritz Hotel. Arrangements may be made for earlier check in at additional cost, but there is no guarantee of room availability. Check with ABR to confirm availability and pricing for early check in.

Sunday Dec 18: Dig Orientation 7 PM
Monday Dec 19-Friday Dec 23: Dig at Khirbet el-Maqatir.
Saturday Dec 24 – Touring and a Special Christmas Eve Service.
Sunday Dec 25 – Special Christmas morning worship service
Monday Dec 26 – One Week Diggers check out
Mon Dec 26 – Sat Dec 31: Dig at Khirbet el-Maqatir
Sunday January 1: Touring and/or artifact analysis
Monday January 2: Diggers check out
Monday January 2 – Sat. January 7: Post Dig Tour and Artifact Analysis

Note: The winter weather is unpredictable and usually requires that the schedule be juggled. Be flexible!

ABR Security Statement

ABR closely monitors the security situation in Israel and the Palestinian controlled territories. If there is reason for concern, we will take appropriate steps, including cancelling the winter dig. This is unlikely to occur. If it did, the ABR group would work on dig related projects at our headquarters and tour at strategic sites of interest.
